3D - Working In The Workshop (Year 1)
This is the work that I have done in 3D.
This was a figure we made using rolled up bits of news paper which we had made using wallpaper paste and a rolling machine and then we tied it together using cable ties
Looking at Planes on Objects
F0r this we were told to look at the planes on different objects, and so we were tasked in making something that would have several, so I made a Model TARDIS out of some cardboard and used a milk bottle for the windows. It funnily enough worked out to be the same height as the Character Options model for the 5" figures, with just a few differences
This is a robot I am making both for my Fan Series and for a project where we have to create a model using pop riveting and screws to hold the pieces of wood together. I have taken aspects of different robots, such as Cybermen and Jonny 5 from Short Circuit. I'm not as happy as I could be with this as I am restricted on how I can make it and what materials I can use
London Museums & War Horse Production Trip
This trip we went to London to Visit the Huntarian Museum, Temple Church and the National Portrait Gallery. The Huntarian Museum is lots of biological things, such as skeletons, animals, ect. The Temple Church was quite old, dating back to 1,500 AD, the architecture was rather nice and the organ had a good accoustic. The National Portrait Gallery wasn't too bad, but I don't know if I would want to go back unless I needed to. I also got some pictures outside the National Gallery on Trafalgar Square in my 11th Doctor Costume from the 50th Anniversary. We went to Camden Market for dinner. We went to a nice little cafe for lunch. They were filming The Apprentace there and so I was pushed into buying some lemons by Derek. So I may well be on the TV, for the third time. We then went to see War Horse which was brilliant. It was quite close to the film and I really enjoyed it.
Mythical Creature Design
For our Final Project in Year 1, we were given the task of coming up with a Mythical Creature made up of 5 animals. So I decided to make mine up of the Body of a Horse, the Torso of a Man, the Head of a Stag, the Claws of a Crab and the Tail of a Rattlesnake. My Creature is called a Stagucralis
